Lloyd Ltd Expands Root Crop Equipment Offering With Scanstone
Lloyd Ltd is pleased to announce that it has been appointed as a dealer for the full range of specialist root crop preparation equipment from SCANSTONE.
The agreement takes immediate effect and will see Lloyd Ltd supplying and supporting SCANSTONE machinery across all of its branches.
SCANSTONE is a leading manufacturer of equipment designed for potato and vegetable crop preparation, offering machines such as:
- Destoners
- Bed formers
- Bed tillers
- Windrowers
- Toppers
These machines are engineered to improve soil preparation and field conditions ahead of planting, helping growers maximise crop quality and efficiency.
Lloyd Ltd will provide full sales, parts and service support for the SCANSTONE product portfolio. Members of the company’s Service and Parts Departments have already received product training and a selection of key parts is available immediately from group stock as well as having access to SCANSTONE’s full parts catalogue to support existing customers straightaway.

The business will also continue to provide aftersales support for existing Grimme customers officially until 5th June 2026 and thereafter by Lloyd Ltd’s experienced staff, ensuring continuity for growers currently operating Grimme equipment.
In addition, Lloyd Ltd is currently in discussions with other manufacturers regarding a potato harvesting solution to complement the new preparation equipment offering.
