A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dealer Principal to join Lloyd Ltd’s senior management team, based at our Lancashire branch in Leyland.
This is a fantastic, rare opportunity for an existing Dealer Principal or experienced manager who is looking for the next step in their career in a market-leading, family-run business.
We’re looking to recruit an enthusiastic, focused senior manager to lead our Lancashire branch forwards. Joining the team at a relatively early stage, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the branch’s continued growth and development.
💻What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the day-to-day running of our branch.
- Driving performance through maximising profitability and turnover within each department.
- Leading and mentoring the team to perform to the best of their abilities and meet company objectives.
- Monitoring finances and increasing efficiencies within the branch to meet and where possible exceed, agreed budgets and targets.
- Maintaining correct stocking levels across all manufacturer product ranges and monitoring business trends.
- Interacting and working in conjunction with the senior management team and departmental managers.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Promoting positive working practices, including health and safety.
✅We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a similar role, ideally within the agricultural or construction industry.
- Holds strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Is an effective leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Has proven management experience with the ability to support, motivate and develop others.
- Is IT literate and comfortable using internal systems.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.

🏠Relocation Allowance – Subject to finding a suitable candidate and meeting qualifying conditions, we will offer a relocation allowance towards the cost of moving to the Lancashire area.
📍Location: Lloyd Ltd Lancashire, Wigan Road, Leyland, Lancashire, PR25 5XW.
🕑Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
