An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Engineer to join the successful team at Lloyd Ltd Cheshire in our busy workshop.
Through on-the-job training from our experienced and highly skilled Agricultural Engineers and an apprenticeship training course at an established college, you will receive all the knowledge needed to become a fully qualified Engineer and a key member of our workshop.
🔧 What you’ll be doing:
- Working alongside a fully qualified Agricultural Engineer to diagnose and fix mechanical problems.
- Assisting with general service and PDI work.
- Learning to fault find and fix mechanical and electrical components.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the workshop is maintained.
- Working to a daily routine and ensuring all jobs are completed.
- Completing college/apprenticeship coursework and classroom-based learning.
- Working safely and in line with our company health and safety guidelines.
✅ We’re looking for someone who:
- 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Maths and English (essential).
- A genuine interest in Engineering/Mechanics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to learn and develop new skills.
- Effective problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Good timekeeping.
- Positive attitude towards work.

📍Location: Based at Lloyd Ltd Cheshire (Unit 5 Cotton Farm, Holmes Chapel, CW4 7ET).
🕑Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
