Jimmy Little adds Foragers to his Master Technician Qualifications
This week was a milestone not only in the impressive career of Jimmy Little, but also for New Holland, as Jimmy was presented with his Forage Harvester Master Technician certificate, making him the first Technician in New Holland’s UK dealer network to hold all three Master Technician qualifications, for Foragers, Combine Harvesters and Tractors.
Jimmy has worked at Lloyd Ltd Carlisle for 34 years, honing his skills to support the company’s growing customer base across its territory. He commented, “Obviously there have been massive changes to the machinery over the past three decades, so I have had to keep up to date with all the developments and innovations that New Holland has done during that time. It has been challenging, but I enjoy working to achieve the high standards that New Holland requires to achieve Master Technician level and developing my problem-solving skills from what I have learned throughout my career so I am delighted to get this recognition of my experience.”

Callum Nisbet, New Holland’s Area Technical Manager, said, “I am incredibly proud to present this certificate to Jimmy on behalf of New Holland. To achieve one Master Technician accreditation is impressive enough, but to reach that standard across three product ranges is a different level. Jimmy passed with flying colours, showing the assessors the depth of his knowledge from more than three decades of working with New Holland machines. Congratulations to Jimmy for leading the way in the dealer network – Lloyd Ltd Carlisle’s customers are lucky to have such an expert in their area.”

John Marston, Lloyd Ltd Carlisle’s Dealer Principal, added, “Jimmy is an integral part of our team here at Lloyd Ltd Carlisle and what he doesn’t know about foragers, combines and tractors isn’t worth knowing as these accreditations prove! His commitment to our customers and to New Holland is second to none, and everyone across the Lloyd Ltd business is delighted to congratulate Jimmy on this exceptional achievement.”
