Due to business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Construction Sales Representative to join the successful team at Lloyd Ltd Newcastle at our industry leading premises, covering the Northumberland and Tyne and Wear area.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate person to join our sales team and embark on an exciting career path, selling a range of industry leading construction machinery across the North East.
This is an exciting role for an individual with experience within the construction machinery or sales industry.
As a Construction Sales Representative, this role involves maximise the sale of new and used agricultural machinery from our range of manufacturers to an existing customer base, whilst also developing relationships and selling to new customers. Primary duties will include maintaining and developing customer relations, ensuring a good understanding of our machinery range actively selling machinery to customers within a specified territory and completing all sales related paperwork.
Although the office base for this role will be at our Newcastle branch, the territory for the position will span across the East coast covering the Northumberland and Tyne and Wear regions. Therefore, with this large and high potential area, you will spend the majority of your time on customer premises promoting our range of machinery, offering demonstrations and developing positive customer relationships within your dedicated territory.
If you:
- Would like to sell and promote construction machinery;
- Have excellent customer service skills;
- Have knowledge of the construction industry;
- Are able to work to targets and are proactive and motivated;
- Have a driven, professional attitude and are IT literate;
- Hold a full UK driving licence.

Contract Type – Permanent, Full Time
Office Base – Lloyd Ltd Newcastle, Ponteland Road, Throckley, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE15 9EP – however you will spend the majority of your working time out of the office on the road and at our customer premises.
Working Hours – Minimum of 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis
