Agricultural Engineer – Lloyd Ltd Lancashire

To support our expansion, we are looking for experienced Agricultural Engineers to join our growing team and become part of a successful, leading family-run business. This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced Engineer looking to make the next step in their career.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Carrying out a range of technical work from routine service and maintenance, to repair and diagnostic work to pre-delivery inspections.
  • Using state-of-the-art diagnostic systems and methods to complete repair and maintenance jobs.
  • Working within our depot and traveling to customer sites in the surrounding area to work on their premises.
  • Demonstrating and installing machinery where needed.
  • Working closely with the parts department to accurately select required parts.
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Completing relevant administration, including job card and warranty paperwork.

The ideal Agricultural Engineer will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Relevant qualifications in the repair and maintenance of machinery.
  • Experience with agricultural machinery, engines, electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Contract Type – Permanent

Working Hours – 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday with additional overtime available.
