ScanStone Bed Formers are available in 2-body, 3-body or 4-body configurations.
The 4-body is available in either a centre-folding or wing-folding version. Bed Formers can be equipped with Classic-style mouldboards, or Chateau-style ploughs (which create a steeper, wider bed). Both the standard Classic-style and the Chateau-style mouldboards are available with a shearbolt, auto-reset or dual action protection, depending on soil conditions and stone content.
2 Body SB
The ScanStone bed maker range adopts the classic ScanStone style body and ploughs, leaving a wide bottom trench for the stones and clods to lie in as it pulls through the ground. The 2 body shearbolt bed former is available with the option of Chateau-style ploughs. This lightweight, cost effective machine is good for opening up beds in soil with small stones. With its three-point linkage, it can be attached onto the back of any tiller. This bed former is a very simple and quality machine.

2 Body AR
The ScanStone bed maker range adopts the classic ScanStone style body and ploughs, leaving a wide bottom trench for the stones and clods to lie in as it pulls through the ground. The auto reset model limits the use of shearbolts, using heavy duty rams, perfect for heavier, stonier conditions. This durable machine can be fitted to any bed tiller thanks to the three point hitch, and it is available with the option of Chateau-style ploughs.

2 Body AR +
The ScanStone bed maker range adopts the classic ScanStone style body and ploughs, leaving a wide bottom trench for the stones and clods to lie in as it pulls through the ground. The AR+ model completely does away with the use of shearbolts, using dual action hydraulic rams, meaning the bodies pivot at two places, perfect for fields with very large stubborn stone.

The Terra AR+ bed former features a cultivator tine toolbar which eradicates the tractor wheelings which may become compacted due to where the tractor and ploughs sit in relation to each other. Using the Terra bed former makes the work of the destoner easier.

4 Body CF AR+
The 4 body centre-folding AR+ bed maker is designed to go into pre-cultivated ground, both to create beds for destoning and aerating the soil. It is key for the bed maker to get as much soil as possible out of the trench and into the bed. This gives the destoner the maximum potential.
