ScanStone’s bed tiller range consists of a 1.8m single, 3.6m fixed, 3.6m folding, 5.4m straddle, 5.4m triple and 6m triple frame, each with the option of a range of attachment behind.
In heavier soil types or lay ground, the bed tilling process can be appropriate. The ScanStone bed tiller is an efficient and effective machine, primarily due to having quick change blades. Depending on the rotor speed, the bed tiller can do a very fine job or a rougher job depending on how much fuel and energy the farmer wishes to use. The amount of bed tilling should be proportional to the forward speed of the destoner.
1.8m Front-Mounted
The ScanStone 1.8m single bed tiller is a suitable machine for a tractor of no less than 100hp. This machine comes available to be used front mounted or rear mounted. The machine features the award-winning quick change blade system as standard.

1.8m Rear-Mounted
The ScanStone 1.8m rear mounted single bed tiller is a suitable machine for a tractor of no less than 100hp. When being used for the potato/vegetable application, the machine is normally fitted with bed making ploughs on the rear, which can either have shearbolt protection or hydraulic auto reset. The machine features the award-winning quick change blade system as standard.

3.6m Fixed
The ScanStone 3.6m fixed bed tiller requires a tractor of no less than 200hp to drive it. The machine can be used for general rotavating or, for the potato application, it can be supplied with a variation of plough configurations; 2 ploughs, 3 ploughs or 4 ploughs (Shown on bed maker section). The fixed model is a less expensive alternative when limited road width is not obligatory.

3.6m Folding
The ScanStone 3.6m folding bed tiller requires a tractor of no less than 200hp to drive it. The machine can be used for general rotavating or, for the potato application, it can be supplied with a variation of plough configurations; 2 ploughs, 3 ploughs or 4 ploughs (Shown on bed maker section). The folding model folds up to an appropriate transport width of under 3m, and they feature a safety transport lock.

5.4m Straddle
The ScanStone 5.4m straddle bed tiller requires around 200-250hp for driving, and is essentially 2 tillers on a folding headstock. The machine is recommended to work in preformed rows, however soil intake discs can be supplied when working directly on the plough surface.

5.4m Triple
